The sums provided for under paragraph (1) of subsection (a) of Code Section 15-21-73 shall be assessed and collected by the court officer charged with the duty of collecting moneys arising from fines and shall be paid over to the Georgia Superior Court Clerks' Cooperative Authority by the last day of the month there following, to be deposited by the authority into the general treasury.

2-A. Surcharge imposed.  Surcharges of 14% and 5% must be added to every fine, forfeiture or penalty imposed by any court in this State, which, for the purposes of collection and collection procedures, are considered a part of the fine, forfeiture or penalty. The 14% surcharge collected as a result of this subsection must be deposited monthly in the Government Operations Surcharge Fund and the 5% surcharge collected as a result of this subsection must be deposited directly into the General Fund.

The Iowa prison infrastructure fund is created and established as a separate and distinct fund in the state treasury.

(c) In addition to any other penalties and liabilities, a person who is convicted of violating any Section of this Act, whose violation proximately caused any incident resulting in an appropriate emergency response, shall be assessed a fine of $2,500, payable to the circuit clerk, who shall distribute the money to the law enforcement agency responsible for the mitigation of the incident.

All funds received for criminal and traffic fines, fees and costs shall be deposited by the next banking day to the account of the General Fund of the State of Delaware. The clerk shall keep an accurate and complete record of all funds received and deposited.
